Court Ordered Community Service

Community Service projects are very important to keeping our shelter a safe and healthy place for our pets and visitors. If you have court appointed community service hours, you can make the lives of pets at the shelter better by doing some of the following jobs:

Wash and fold laundry

Wash and dry dishes

Sweep and mop whiskers room and hallway

Pick up cat playroom, sweep and mop

Sweep and mop laundry area

Check trash and take out if full

Pick up poop from outside kennels and play yards

Wash dog water bowls and refill them

Spot check kennels, clean if dirty

Spot check cat cages, clean if dirty

Clean bathroom

Clean cage doors in sick cat room

Clean cage doors in dog kennels

Pick up play yards

Mow the lawn

and much more...

If you are interested in spending your community services hours at the shelter, please sign up at the Humane Society office. You must let the office staff know your hours are for court when you arrive or they may not be counted correctly!
