Jackie has served as shelter director of the Humane Society of Stillwater since 2008. Jackie is originally from Iowa and has a professional background in microbiology. Jackie has worked to make countless improvements to the shelter and spends many hours working to make the shelter a wonderful place for the cats and dogs to wait for their forever family.

Jackie is also involved locally in Operation Cat Nip and Payne County Animal Response Team. Jackie lives with her husband Gilbert and her animals Tipper, Lil T, Teddy, Ruby, Bumble, Henry, Joe and Simi.
