Community Service projects are very important to keeping our shelter a safe and healthy place for our pets and visitors. If you have court appointed community service hours, you can make the lives of pets at the shelter better by doing some of the following jobs:
Wash and fold laundry
Wash and dry dishes
Sweep and mop whiskers room and hallway
Pick up cat playroom, sweep and mop
Sweep and mop laundry area
Check trash and take out if full
Pick up poop from outside kennels and play yards
Wash dog water bowls and refill them
Spot check kennels, clean if dirty
Spot check cat cages, clean if dirty
Clean bathroom
Clean cage doors in sick cat room
Clean cage doors in dog kennels
Pick up play yards
Mow the lawn
and much more...
If you are interested in spending your community services hours at the shelter, please sign up at the Humane Society office. You must let the office staff know your hours are for court when you arrive or they may not be counted correctly!
