The Humane Society of Stillwater operates a NO-KILL nonprofit shelter that exists on donations from the public. We house dogs and cats here until they are adopted permanently into good homes. To view an up to date list and pictures of our animals please follow our link to Petfinder.com. The Humane Society shares a building with the City Animal Welfare shelter, and aids in the adoption of animals there. Stillwater's Animal Welfare division can only hold animals for a limited time period; at the end of that period, they are euthanized. Whenever space is available, the Humane Society takes in those animals that are at risk of being euthanized.

 

All Donations are Tax Deductable

The Humane Society operates totally off of donations from the public such as yourself. We are not funded by any grants or affiliated with a state, regional, or national group.

Donations can be money or products. Money can be brought to the Humane Society Shelter or mailed to our Post Office Box. If you prefer to donate products or other things, these should be dropped off at the Humane Society shelter during its regular business hours so that you can receive a receipt for your donations.

  • Dish Detergent (for dishwasher)
  • Anti-bacterial Hand Soap
  • Old Bath Towels and Blankets
